Top Mounts

i have bought adjustable top mounts for the coilovers i bought but can anyone tell me why only 2 of the many holes just about lined up out of all of the holes which puts my top mount in the one place i dont want it

I'm sure I managed to get standard placement, fully inward, fully backward, and a combination of the two (-ve camber and +ve castor) using the given holes. Which topmounts did you get?

thats where the topmounts sit and they have a sheet load of holes around the edge

Where are they from? Compbrake?

You should be able to jiggle them so they sit inwards/backwards/where ever you want?

i tried mate couldnt get them to do it i struggled like hel to get them to sit where they are i got to get this sorted as the coilovers are rubbing my tyre

Hi

I found when i fitted mine i needed to make the hole in the Nova shell where the strut comes through (does that make any sence?) bigger to allow the movement or the top part of the top mount or it just kept touching the shell.

I used a flap wheel in a drill and made it larger.

Hope that makes some sence!
