just read this on a dog forum.. ****in disgusting.. if that wat me with my staffies they'd have my pants down and a full blown investigation they'd probs try and pin dog fighting on me etc etc

Its not gonna be ok - the guy who did it will lose his job (quite rightly) and also not be able to work within the police either as they are apparently prosecuting (for the animal cruelty and also for the cost as they are expensive 'equipment' if that makes sense)...

Apparently it was a 1 dog van with the doors left open but the dogs were caged, the man responsible was obviously a complete tool with no regard for the animals (or any sense if it was accidental)...

And so I'm told he is now hated within the local force itself so I cant imagine he will be getting an easy ride - at least we can hope he doesn't cause he def deserves the book being dropped on him imo...

i know that the person involved will get what's coming to him, because in the uk, an animal is viewed far higher in law than a person.
a few years back, a lad in tamworth was put inside for 18months forbeating up a hedgehog.. if he'd done it to another human, he'd have got probation....
