just given it a go and gives some senible quotes for once, might be of use to someone

I wouldn't touch anything associated with the pipeline card.
If its anything like their so-promised "fuel discount card", they'll promise you a cheap insurance deal, send you loads of emails saying its almost ready, then start trying to sell you heating oil for your home lol

lol its been a long time coming for certain.
I think 9 years of excuses (well 4 years of excuses then 5 years of absolutely nothing except spam) means its never, ever going to happen lol

i wouldn't say they are cheap as they just quoted me fully comp 3500 for a 1.2 with all mods declared and im paying 1200 now fully comp with all mods declared.

if you have mods its probably best going thru specialist brokers, or ringing specialist companys (Flux, Sky etc) comparison sites i find are inly really useful for standard cars (like me and my cav) because the companys they check dont specialise in modifications,
