re-size pictures??

trying to up load some newer pics to my feature but the files are to big, does any one know how i can shrink them? thanks in advance :thumb:

If you mean too big as in filesize, just open them in any photo viewer and re-save as a jpeg file. Most will have the compression set fairly aggressively, OR use something like paint shop pro or photoshop where you can manually set the compression level.

If its too big as in dimensions of the pic, then use paint shop pro or photoshop to resize the pic.

If you don't have access to a tool that can resize or compress them enough, another option is to upload them to photobucket to a smaller picture size (1024x768 should be doable on a free account), then resave them once they've uploaded. You'll end up with a much smaller filesize image :thumb:

done it thanks RJ, using photobucket the saving as jpeg. The pics have come out really blurry though sure ill work it out
