Grinding/Whirring

Got a speed sensitive whirring going on, instantly thought it was a wheel bearing. I've checked all the wheels for play and there isnt any.

So, I'm starting to think of other possibilities.


Could it be the diff?

F10WR box by the way, and it's also cream crackered (5th grinds like hell lol)

My old car had similar noise for ages... Turned out it was the wheel bearing (there was no play in it), it was just rough/noisy when rotating.

I'd just rather kill 2 birds with 1 stone by slamming a good CR box in and seeing if that cures it.

Suppose there's only really one way lol
