Can anyone tell me what materials these are made from, as in the size of the box section frame....

Need to know what i can get away with as im building a frame for another vehicle.

Is there anywhere or anyone that may have the technical drawings so i can build one? (long shot)...

Seamless steel tube id imagine. Personally thats what id use anyway.

Any ideas on the dimensions? all the pics i can find seem to use the box stuff as the base, and then two tubes from the top of the bulkhead to the front of the frame...

Need basically the smallest tubing i can get away with, but obviously keeping everything safe ans where it should be...

I used 1inch box in the grasser.. But that only had a 1400 vauxhall engine in.

16vminiforum suggests 1 inch box, and triangulated corners. id be looking at 1.5 inch tbh.

25x25x2.5 wall should be strong enough, if you think that looks a bit weedy, 30x30x2.5 will do. After that you're looking at 40x40, too big really.

A friend of mine has the XE in his mini i may be able to get some pics on the ramp and from the top of the engine bay if that helps.
The subframe and full fitting kit were bought from a company in chesterfield if that helps as well
