need a litle info on these.

had 1 on my nova sri before i had a full magnex with 4b manifold. just took it off and engine has run exactly the same apart from maybe use a little more fuel. however i let a friend borrow my sensor as i didnt need it. now he's lost it.
Iv found a plug on my magnex system just behind where it joins to the manifold. im guessing its for a lambda sensor to be fitted.
Now i have a 16v sensor but it has 3 wires and iv been led to belive its becuz they heat themselves up? is ther anyway i can use the 16v sensor?

Sorry to seem thick but as we are on the subject
ive de-cated my nova and got a performance backbox. Is the Lambda sensor ok as it is? (its a 1.2 single point injection)

ok..
apparently i should wire the heater wires to the fuel pump relay so its only on when it needs to be.

the sensor should be left alone as much as poss m8. iv only had to move mine as iv fitted a stainless 4 branch manifold

is a 4 branch manifold the one that is 4-1?

erm, yes and no. it means it stays as 4 seperate pipes for longer, you can get 4-2-1 and 4-1. mine is a 4-2-1 but it goes donw and under the engine as 4 pipes, then into 2 then straight into 1. as its very thin stainless steal its difficult to drill a hole for the sensor

whats the best choice for a custom built exhaust for a 1.2i? ive been thinking of a 1.4 SRi Exhaust Manifold with 1.4 SRi Exhaust Twin Down Pipes and 1.6 GTE Front Pipe, but what else could i add to the system?
