Hi guys,

I get to use a lot of different wax's/polishes whilst doing my job on a daily basis but there's always new types coming out and its like a minefield! Im used to using fareclau,megs,3m, and autoglym really but I keep hearing Dodo juice/collinite and other types of high detail gear and dont know what to try as theres so many different types too! Id like something thats easy to apply and remove and to leave a cracking shine. Lastability doesnt matter too much as I dont mind spending time on the car. Give me some options please......

Nick.

I think you should get some Glaze (I think Meg's do some) and also some Sealant (Chemical Guys Jetseal 109) I think its called :)

No idea how easy it is to use but I keep hearing about it but haven't got round to buying some

I used steps 1 and 2 of the megs shizzle and then topped with collinite 976, it lasted facking ages, although wasnt a super wet/glossy finish like some can get. but for lazy mofos like me it was great, now I cba and let it get minging

Nick, I dont think you'll improve too much on AG products, I tend to use UDS, followed by multiple coats of EGP (a pleasure to apply) and a coat or two of AG HD Wax.....

Would look so good on your red paint... I'd almost travel up and give you a hand!!!!

Orange Dodo Juice gives a brilliant shine on a red car and is fairly easily applied and taken off.......

I love Megs stuff.

Purple Haze is good too, used that before

Tried most polish and must say meg's is probably given the best results and easiest to use, plus smell's quite nice.

I've just got some Bilt Hamber balm to try on my car after a few recommendations, meant to be a ballache to use but allegedly worth it!

Thanks for the reply's all, It seems everyone has their own preferences then! I'll have to see what I can find on the bay shortly. Then I can get a good few coats of the chosen stuff on before the trip to billing. :)

Get a good glaze, best i have found is Chemical guys Ez Creme, its funking awesome! On red gives a really deep deep gloss shine.

With that over stage2 Megs, you'll get a beautiful finish.

Wax wise... There are so many. One that is prob the best i've used is the dodo jusic supernaturl, but the down side is its 60 a pot. But its fantastic.

I still use Megs stage 3, have their high tech yellow wax too, which is very nice.

I tryed the dodo jusic hard candy. Really didnt get on with it, found it really hard to put on and take off, i'm gonna try the purple haze soft one soon.

You're welcome to try some of mine at billing if you wise...

Ive tried nearly all the different brands
and i find Smartwax to be the best.

They do sealants and shampoos the lot.
Leaves a brillinat shine everytime and easy to put on and wipe off.

Would recommend to anyone

Bilt Hamber auto balm is the only wax i put near my car, It takes a while to apply but its worth it, Its got corrosion inhibitors,

Megs. I apply the stage 3 wax by hand. Paintwork is so smooth after.
