hi i bought some bits at the weekend and i found amongst the bits a piper cam for a 1.6 it says on the end bp 300 hyd anyone any info :)

its a piper BP300 (300 degree) cam... Jim has/had one in his 1.6 8v engine... VERY good cammage imho. Ignore the "rev range" BS people will spout, it pulled clean from about 1500-limiter when setup by someone who knows what carbs are (assuming you are on carbs)

cool i dont even have an engine for the gte yet but was offered these bits 5 boxes of for 50 quid so it was a good buy then. p.s i will be going for 40s too

yep buying ftw i needed mk1 headlights/radiator got all that plus 2 sets of 6 dial gte clocks a gen saloon front wing 2 efi inlets a head 3 cams and a set of glass plus other shizzle bargan oh and a lower final drive pinion has 17teeth and crown wheel has 73 or 74 teeth brand new
