u got a big drill?

or another idea is a "tank" cutter

drill either the centre with a big hole cutter/saw and get in

or drill with the biggest drill possible where u expect the catch to be on either side

or lever it open with a screrwdriver / chisel each side.

no eittquette really just dont damage the dash!

wow mike, no need for the destruction just yet.

If you can manage to lift the handle on it a little bit then there is a kind of lever behind it push this down and it should open.
If you cant lift the handle the tear it off its only spring loaded and is easy to reset.

then if no good get a drill!

or take the whole thing out, by unscrewing the 2 screws underneath, (towards the front) and on the side.

once you get it out, it might be easier to open up...

Step one, open passenger window
Step two, attach strong rope/chain to handle/glovebox front
Step three, attach other end of strong rope/chain to immovable object
Step four, Foot to the floor.
