bumper mounts

ive just got a new bumper and got read of my mk1 rear bumper, only thing is i took the mounts off and the bumper sticks out to far for the thread on the bracket to go through the rear panel holes, ive made brackets up so it lines up and fits in the hole, but whats the best way to attach the brackets to the bumper? also the inside of the bumper is plain and smooth if that helps, went to a scrappy the other day found no novas but plenty of ecotec vectras/astras. scrap man said for a zx motor wiper arm and the blade on top its a tenner which sounds good to me for the whole set up?

the mk1 and mk2 bumper mounts are different (one is longer iirc).

put a wanted in wanted section - might get someone to sort you out...
