throttle cables

hi dudes silly question but what throttle cables are best to use as i have a 2ltr cable allready that joins on to a small ball joint with a small pin that holds it on and the 1 on my xe is flat with a small grove but the pin with my throttle cable doesnt fit threw the grove , do i file it out so the pin fits or do i get another cable , cheers jj

What? Use a xe tb cable. It shouldnt have aball end, it should have a nipple like bikes have.

i sed it was a stupid question , its just really messed up how it is iv never seen 1 like this, is it possible to swap the arm

Just get the right cable. Will be under a tenner from a motorfactor or free from a scrappy if you nick it.
