Major reshell - Can it be done?

As most of u know i own a 5 door hatchback nova
the chassis is gr8, nice engine, bodywork is good!
Would i be able (if it ever came 2 it) to reshell it into a 3door?
Iv had a look and all i'd need 2 change is the sides! the boots are identical, as is the front end of the car! im certain the front wings are the same size, just round and not flaired!
Im sure the 5dr hatch chassis and the 3dr hatch chassis are identical! (well, when i plumbed in the fuel lines, they wer the same length!)
It woul b a project and a half, and somthing i'd look into in the future!

wot the point when u could just buy a 2 door??? sounds like a lot of work

I guess it is possible but would be easier to get a good 3 door car and just swap any personal bits over, and possibly the engine if required. Other than that I think it's too much work for the benefits gained.

if u did want a 3 door, then just buy a 3door, cheaper and a LOT easier..
