A guy over in ireland has got one with carbs on, cant remember his name but its a red mk2 with a rare set of 17s on.

Never driven an xe nova but my mate had one with weber 48s rr'd at 165bhp and it kept up well on the motorway.
Mines standard besides the k&n and a four branch.

did the 4 branch make alot of difference? and what make is it?
It sounds better but doesnt to give more power until later on in the rev range. But It keeps blowing at the join to the system so I cant really say how much better it is lol Not sure on the make, just a plain mild steel, maybe janspeed?

Mine has a lary cam, ported, 4 branch, literal straight through exhaust, and one or 2 other mods, its also running very rich but not sure if thats helping or not.
Mine will pull to the limiter in 5th, ran a 15.1sec @ 92mph @ POD.
It also feels quicker than my old XE but in a smoother way.

steve is your nova rebuilt yet mate??
Its all prepped for the new front end, just waiting for my mate to pop over when he's free, hopefully the next couple of weeks i.e right before billing! lol I doubt it'll be there though, needs to be re-taxed and the insurance will be quite a bit more but i'll be happy once its fixed.

this is the thread im talking about. see loads of the XE's but never the 2.0 8v.
personally there just as good as the XE's but dont have the reputation.

I have a SEH but don't have any engine bay photos (it's a bit messy under there :p). The 4-1 manifold definately made a difference to mine, it spits flames on gear change now too lol
I meant to say I'll get a couple of pics for you, is there anything in particular you want to see from the pics?
