if its a mk2 cav, then the 1600 bigblock fits to an f16 box

F16 upwards iirc, inc F28 if you want it.

Its a mk3 Cav. I'm guessing its not a great engine or has it got any tuning potential? Things like 2.0 NE Cams etc?

its an 8v, so only has one cam.

No tuning potential either - huge waste of time!;)

i always assumed the 1.6 small block was fitted into the mk3, the 16sv??? i think, but the 1.8 big block was also fitted....

I ment the 2litre cam, not 2 cams. lol

Mowgli, I did as well, I've owned around 5 1.6s and they were all small block.

the 1.6 big block found in the cav was a 1.6se iirc

it will be an spi, code c16sz1 or c16nz1 dependant on year. late mk3 had em.
