coscast.
means the head for the xe/LET were cast by cosworth. therefor not going porous like the GM head.
not strictly true...cosworth could of done the head and still go porous.
the cascast heads are made from a better grade of material. think of it like this....gm head - aero, coscast head - dairy milk, in terms of quality.
the coscast heads have much smaller inlet ports too and are ment to be hand finished

IMHO they arent worth the money they're fetching. A while ago, when everyone hadnt gone bonkers about it, they were worth the money. There are many GM heads that dont go porous.
Its worth doing on a higher spec engine though just to be safe.
me and my mates use gm head with the porous mod done costs £60 for the mod, so happy days.
2mates who run head ive done one let is 400bhp the other shold be 400 once set-up..again, havent had any problems with them
/\what he says, ive seen both go for a burton, and both be ok.
