what is involved wen u get ur car decatted???does it improve performance??just most 1.2s hav had it and i wondered if it improved performance.

cat is abbreviation for catalytic converter. a component of your exhaust that removes a load of shit basically from your gas before it off into the wide open world. good for the environment but they restrict the flow of air going out. de-cat is just a term for an exhaust system that doesnt have one. in most cases more power and better throttle response.

didnt notice much when mine was taken off actually i quite missed that eggy fart smell when u razz ur car
