Well, I picked up this little gem last week so thought I'd pop a photo up. The bumper bar is a bit bent but everything else is straight, factory arches etc :thumb: I'm collecting a mirror from Asa tomorrow and the plan is to gradually pick up bits and bobs until it's looking as sweet as my other one. I'm currently working on Dougie letting me purchase a Cav SRi for the seats thehehehe. Might leave the 1.2 in it for the time being because it's actually pretty damn quick :p Dougie drove it back and I followed him in my Cavvy and I was pleasantly suprised. Here is a taster pic, next to my housemate's very yellow mk1 Fez

And of course, it's cheeky playmate/ partner in crime... I'm loving the economy of the SEH engine in my Nova :cool: it cost me like £13 back from PVS!

Cheers Ad, Dougie took that photo last weekend. There are a few bits to do on the yellow one but it's a decent shell which is always a great starting point :)
I cleaned it in my knickers and a big baggy tshirt, you missed out dude :p 45k on it. The interior is horrid though :(

The plan is to clean it up, get a decent interior in it and some steelies like my others. I'm hoping to V6 the blue one and D reckons I should leave this one carb'd so I thought perhaps put the SEH in it and get a couple of Webers on there. I'm finally getting to enjoy my blue one after 18 months of misbehaving though, so I want to keep it as it is for a wee while.

My god Lynz keep the blue one as is you'll regret messing with it now it's running properly for once. Oh and a mk1 v6 have you been sniffing around rj lol The question though will Dougie put them both in tv for the £25 star car ;)
No :( how mean is that!? I will enjoy it for a while but it's just not quick enough right now. I had V6 plans from the start, it was when I went to the Nova thrash at Brunters that I got a taste for them :p ANYWAY there are a lot worse people to be sniffing round than RJ thank you please.

Thanks :) 'plooughs were getting oo common so I opted for this GMS Bodystylers one. Plus, I bought they yellow NOva with the money from the 'plough :)
The mk1 Fiesta is Neil from Fast Ford's little beaut. It's got a Supercharged 2.0 Zetec engine with 250bhp and it makes lots of noise :cool:

Bentley Boo- Yeah, I get much better economy than I do with my Cav (which has the same engine) and I'm less inclined to boot it in the Cav so I don't understand why?! But the Nova is certainly economic, I get about 40mpg. I'm looking forward to seeing you and Ad when I come up :) x
Looks like an excellent car for the money Lynz, I'll look forward to seeing what it progresses into as and when :)

Just read about this in tv, looks like a good buy, I nearly bid on it a few months back when it was on ebay, didnt it go for something stupid like £100 ??? And do you really get 40mpg from the seh? Mine must be fuc ked then as I got about 30mpg on the journey to/from billing last year. You should get better mpg with it in the nova as it isnt pulling so much weight, so the engine doesnt have to work as hard.

[edit] V6 the fcuker :d but say goodbye to fuel economy. I get about 150 miles to a full tank on normal driving, 180 if I go steady. I reckon I could easily drop that to sub 100 with not much effort. Billing and PVS cost me about £80 in fuel each lol

Thought so. Neil is from Oldham, and actually did my last TV feature, the one for K95VHD as a freelance whilst working for Fast Ford. Strangely, Barton Brisland did my first TV feature, whilst freelancing when HE worked for Fast Ford!
