Sportex 3" backBox

Just bought a Sportex 3" backbox :)

Looks good so far!

Aint put it on yet as i need to change my downpipe and mid section! :x

Just out of curiosity, has n e one had a sportex back box b4 and how is it?

Dnt want it as loud as sum women but want it to sound good and not like my crappy standard bendy backbox u get on 1.2's!

i just got me a sportex manifold...........

ill fill u in on that as u may want to upgrade at some point

they are bloody loud. not roaring, but really distinctive and loud enough. my mates got the 3" one, ive got the DTM one, no difference really. Can make a huge 'pop' with flames bout 2 feet from my sr! Personally, i love the sound of sportex exhausts.

do sportex manifolds make much difference to driving the car? eg noise

also pickup and response?

I am speaking from very limited experience as none of my mates actually has the sportex manifold. However, my mate with the 3" backbox has driven a car with the Sportex whole system, manifold, downpipes, de-cat pipes backbox etc. and he said that he was thinking about getting the whole lot. I dont actually know how the manifolds will perform on their own, but he said that the whole system made it fuck loud.
