temp sensor broke off

hi the temp sensor is broke of my 1200 inlet. was woundering has this happened to anyone and what is the best was to fix it. just drill it out and re-tap the hole????

drill a smal hole and use a stud extracter (sp) :thumb:

Like he said small stud extractor. The thread is a very fine taper therefore re-tapping (to the same size) is not an option.

Or I would just change the inlet manifold as I hate extracting studs and tapping etc!!!

A 1200 one must be cheap enough!

there £25 for an inlet but im just after buying this one so dont want to buy another. how much would a stud extractor be as i may invest in one as i dont have one.

About £8 a set in Halfrauds IIRC.
