Whole engine needed

I know it's a long shot as it's not a nova but I need a new engine for my Corsa.
I need a 16v, 1.2 2004 engine, best quote so far is 350 squids.
Anyone happen to be selling / know anyone that is selling one?

Bloody thing just went on me on the motorway, no mechanic seems to know why, but basically it will cost more to fix the current engine than it would to replace it.
And 350 is good, but there are loads cheaper on ebay, but they are all pickup only and miles away,and with no car that makes it difficult. :(

350 isn't fitted. If it was I could afford it, but the cheapest quote to fit it i've had so far is 170.

He has been decent to me over the past few months, and he has workshop facilities to fit if required.

I replaced a 1.2 16v and a 1.0 12v in past few months and paid £150 for each engine but that was from a breaker in York (Piggotts Autoparts). He will palet them and send them to you though but not sure how much that costs. Maybe email him and ask? He has a website. The engines both had 3 month guarantees and warranted low mileages.

I was told by a Vauxhall mechanic the 1.2 16v and 1.0 12v were only designed to last for 60k and both mine were replaced around this mileage - I didnt bother trying to repair them as I think they are very weak and difficult to set up!

I'm not going to vauxhall direct, I got a quote and they were majorly trying to rip me off. The 170 is a garage quote but the cheapest out of about 30 in my area.

got 1 here with head gasket gone for £100 or will have a good 1 coming up for £250 as my mates turboing his corsa
