Nova 1.3SR

Hi Guy's,
I have been offered an interesting 1989 nova sr it's a white one owner car in a completely standard condition and has covered just under 12000 miles from new.
Can anyone tell me what it would be worth I am considering buying it to polish and show as its very nearly in as new condition (it even has its original tyres)
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It depends if the owner knows how much they are worth...anywhere between £500 and about 3k..

where the car from, i heard through a friend about a sr for sale in falkirk

Its coming in on scrappage scheme but i dont think i can let it be crushed it lovely and even still has its original tax disc holder and all its old tax discs etc.

it will cost me 2000 to save it though! i might only be having a relapse to my youth and need some reasurrance that if the wife goes mad i can get my money back!

Buy it!! Talk to the customer and tell them of your desire to preserve it!!

They may take £1000 rather than 2 to see their former pride and joy saved !!!

And do them a good deal on the new car - knock a grand off and then pay a grand for the nova!!

if only i had the power my employers would sack me for entering into negotiations with the customer and crush it out of principal!!!!!

Whereabouts in Yorkshire is it mate, if you dont buy it perhaps get details of owner and someone on here WILL!

It looks like i might be able to save it but it is going to cost 2k to buy it out of scrappage and i dont think the wife will let me keep a 2 grand nova for fun so when i get it it will be for sale once it has had a good clean and a polish!
If anyone is interested please let me know and when i have them i'l send out pictures.

I see what you mean but its a completely original car by the sounds of things... you can't just assume that its rotten? Could be a solid shell, not like you say. Each to their own.
