tuning a 1.2i

hi ive got a mk2 1.2i engine and it seems to be running rich, is there anyway to change the air/fuel intake? as it also seems to be bogging out at junctions, bear in mind i have fitted a new corsa tophat and cone air filtrt so would this change the performance and be the reason for a new tune?:confused:

Are you sure it's running rich? what sort of MPG are you getting?

This is probably due to the conefilter.Has it only being since this was fitted?

yeh it happend before the cone was fitted aswell. and im getting poor mpg not sure what yet but its definetly using more iv been through 50£ in two days, just driving locally, around 20 miles uses a quarter of a tank?

yeh its not a leak, i mean the corsa air filter thing that goes on the tb, maby not a quarter then just abit under it

I done this myself, used to razz about all the time and i got a good 34 odd MPG so its not that...... if its bogging down try looking at the coolent temp sensor, as if that goes it will read cold and make it overfuel like an ****!
