yeah just get the yellow pages out and phone as many as poss, including the usual suspects (liverpool victoria, CIS, adrian flux, etc.).

also try playing them off each other... some of 'em say they'll match or beat other quotes, but then when you tell em a better quote from another company they say "ooh no, actually we cant..."

?2000 TPFT isn't uncommon for me.

Move to the country
Put a CAT 1 Alarm/Imob on it
Lock it in a Garage
Limit the miles

I've just sold my modded 1400sr, had Twin 40s, cam, 4 branch manifold, s/s exhaust, alloys, lowered/uprated suspensionetc etc. The guy who brought it was 17 and insured it fully comp with all mods declared for ?1052 I think. I didin't think that was bad at all considering his age and the mods. He went with Norwich Union.

That MUST have been under his parents name surely :!:

I am with CIA, they gave me the second best quote of ?1300. Trident gave me the best quote of ?1250 then when i phoned to go for it, they said ?1290.
I went with CIA as their staff are friendly and really helpful, and trident didnt seem very professional to me.
So its ?1300 TPF& T on my nova GTE, 16" alloys, some cosmetics, delocked, standard engine, s/s exhaust. and a cat 1 alarm/immobilser.
Ohh i also have 3 penalty points for speeding, and two claims. one of them being my fault. and i have zero no claims.

CIS ran screaming when i mentioned GTE to them
