^ my point exactly lol

My policy is about £350 F/C now, an extra £600 is £950. To insure a Nova? Yeah right.

£337 F/C on a Focus RS, muchos better then £950 for a Nova worth about £3k in parts.

lol you cant compare modified to standard :thumb: modified just about any new 2.0+ hot hatch would beat a average Nova (average being an XE, G-Max suspension with speedlines, GSi kit, insured as a 1.2)

My premium on my 1600T is about the same as a mates valver. It just falls into the 'heavily modified' bracket. A few years NCB & a lack of accidents/endorsements should help keep the premium in the £500 ballpark I should imagine.

call some some places and ask. if your young you would get funked in the arss just for a 1600 so with turbo will be huge!

19 isnt a bad age to try, can go with flux/hic etc. I doubt theres anyone that will insure you any younger.

I paid 1200 on an xe nova at 19 (2 years ncb). After a couple of months i enquired about changing to an imported nissan pulsar (4x4 2.0 turbo) £1600

The price would have gone up by the time you get around to doing it anyway so wait untill your ready
