where's the best place to go for a new steering column as my steering wheel wont come off and my horn is stuck on

It will come off. You need a special puller from your local motor factors, most places hire them out for a few quid. Make sure it stays parallel as you tighten up the bolt, then suddenly...BANG-- it will free up.

If you keep getting problems with your horn ring (ooer) you can still get an MOT pass with a conventional switch placed elsewhere on the dash. Just tell the tester in advance.

....forgot to mention on any car with a driver's frontal airbag there is shut down procedure to follow before removing steering wheel, to avoid faint possibility of 'blowing yourself up'. See Haynes manual.

Probably Corsa territory not Nova, but i just thought i'd better cover myself there..

a new stering coloum, or a new steering wheel, or a new horn push lol

i accidently bent the gold ring on the back on the wheel and this caused the horn to stay on,

been looking on e-bay and all the gm ones look the same but some say they are for a vectra? would it still work or do i need a special size?
