Im looking into getting a digital HD projector & 84" screen. BUT, what to i do with regards to audio??
Get a seperate amplifier/AV processor and then a set of speakers.
Run all your audio through that :)

WTF is an AV processor?
EDIT: All i need is some speakers for use with the ocassional DVD & online gaming, thats it, nothing special.
Could i not just plug a surround sound straight into the projector?? As they do have audio input/output jacks.
Lol, lost you already eh :p
In simple terms, just use the audio output on your dvd player/games console, put them to the input on a seperate amplifer, and then just use 2 speakers.

A A/V processor is like an amp, but can output 5channel sound etc (for 5speakers), which is the kind of setup i have at my place.

Or you could even use a old hi-fi if it has phono (red/white) inputs on the back.

A projector wont have speaker outputs, it may have 2channel audio outputs though, depending on the projector and what type of connection you use to it....
I noticed in another thread you said you cant use tv's, Why is that ??

Cos mike is technofail, much like dod is technoviking lol
If you just want some basic sound Mike, you will be best off just getting/using a old hi-fi (make sure it has the two aux inputs on the back), most do....
Thats the easiest solution for you.
