Well after seeing an advert in the "cars wanted" section the other day tht was relitivley close to me at a very cheap price i couldnt miss it!
We left the house at 8am to head to edinburgh to pick up the 1.3sr. stopping at the scrap yard on the way up to get steel wheels as the guy wanted to keep his alloys they only set me back £10. Arrived at the guys house at 12.30 after a few food stops (quite a lot!). We got a good look round the car but i knew even before i got there no matter how much rot there was i was taking it as there was a lot of goodies on it i could use on mine or sell on then eventually restore the shell. after having a good look round the shell we realised that it infact was ok only needing a smell repair on the drivers rear chassis leg. and apard from a poor repair of the rear arches where you can see it bubbling slightly at the welds the shell was well worth it! So after sorting the guy his money we set abous getting the car on the trailer to head home. After stopping in at kevins (16vnovakev) for him to get a look at it and for me to get a look around his gte (which is slowly getting there.!)

Close Ratio Box ( not sure which model )
2.0 Astra GSI disc concersion front and rear
De-locked doors ( Eagle 2 Clifford alarm central locking )
Engine bay and underside sealed since ownership
Has spax springs and dampers ( 40mm lower I think )
