Interior colour change!

Has anyone sprayed there MK1 interior a different colour but without removing the whole dash? :o

if so tel me how u overcome the tight angles like the top of the dash!

its a mk2 dash, but i'm sure ya could do a similar thing with mk1.

you shouldn't have to take the whole dash out, just the bits you wanna spray.

I did my first nova mk1 from BROWN!!! YUM to grey and it looked MINT!

But i had to take the whole dash off coz you will neva get in the angles such as the top of window.
Its real easy to remove the dash, takes like 30mins and like 10 screws and a few bolts!

Steering wheel is hardest part, I had to remove the whole column on mine and then reattach!

TO be honest I'd say get a mk2 dash! They look much nicer and have loadsa places to put stuff! Like HU case at top! :wink:

Spraying it is well easy, just make sure that you use plastic paint and give it like three coats coz you will be pisst if you chip it and you have only applied one coat!
Good thing bout plastic paint is that you can spray ova a chip and you can barely notice that you have applied another caot!

The paint is available from halfords and is like ?10 a can! You will probably need 1 and 1/2 cans!

I'd say just go for a mk2 dash mate!
