View Full Version : We all know
that the USA are the masters at killing allies in friendly fire, which is bad enough but I was gobsmacked when I watched 'Air crash disasters' (iirc) earlier today and one of their navy destroyers shot down an Airbus with 280 people on board! :roll:lol
Anyone ever hear of that and/or saw the programme?
I'm going to look it up online in a bit if I CBA.

Guess it's not an isolated incident. Great(!) lol
The heroes welcome for the crew of the destroyer annoyed me, as well as the Captain and another of his crew being given accomodations for their actions.
If they didn't have their heads up their ar$e they would have known it posed no threat, maybe if they hadn't strayed into Iranian waters directly below the planes flight path it would have been different.
Someone should have been jailed for that IMO.

According to the US government, the crew mistakenly identified the Iranian Airbus A300 as an attacking F-14 Tomcat fighter.

Who did they have as spotter, Stevie Wonder?
LOL Come on dar, this is the US... they had bush sitting behind the controls....

IIRC the 'squak' signal given off from the F-14 was the one they were tracking :S
America - There to make the rest of the world look more intelligent.
Plenty of friendly fire jokes to be had over Xbox live with them :D
lol Makes me want a xbox just to take the piss. The ones that play so called racing games are even funnier....
lol Yeah. Bit out of touch with XBMC now but playing them on Forza was good. 'Hey man I can't do stick' flol
*edit. That out of touch I referred to Media Centre on the mk1 lol
lol. And they think we have funny accents... err right
Old news, the americans are always shooting the wrong things.
RJ in shock captiliazation fail!
I thought they liked to shoot other army men. :(
Nah, it was my way of showing disregard for them
I believe that. Your lack of punctuation conveys your point. :)
