yeah as in going round corners and your tyre rolls off like a too small condom! that would be bad!

so hybrid do you run 215s on what are 225? where did you get it done? and were they alright with doing it,

on the rear i would keep 225s just have narrower on the front!

agree with stu really (depending on amount)
''Under no circumstances should tyres outside of manufacturers recomendations be used on the road.''

but im no expert

give me some reasons then lads, i really know nothing about it and i really need to

a)sort new rear tyres (mot time AND back ends wilder than ken blocks subaru)
b)sort the scrubbing out on the front,

so i would put my fronts on the rear, then sort out some for the front!

would just getting smaller profile tyres help allieviate my problem? suppose rolled arches would too, give me some options if you can please chaps and pro and cons if you can,

im a simple minded soul :)

Was only joking lol

I run 195s on my escort 7" rims but thats the "sauth london look" lol

Carnt see you having a problem mate most tyre places will happily fit 205 tyres instead of 215 so must be alittle give with streched tyres

yeah sound, so you pay for my new wheels and i will fit them, unless the money tree starts sprouting again orrrrrrr its rains gold for an hour or two

as it is i would rather not be having to **** about with it all and buy part worn 18" tyres but what i want to be doing and what has to be done are very different things

modifying comes at a cost. and there are downsides to mate... lol ,

i got some nice 1992 13" steelies, il do you a swap, :)

cheers novaboi lol, we will see, i would probably be better off selling them than swapping for steelies :) thank you though,

indeed it does, as does replacing back to standard as i bought the van already modified, it was just a thread to see my options!

Any pictures of said van??

And i have 18" Audi style wheels on my passat, they run 225/35 tyres.

As for stretching, I'm pretty sure it's not legal, and for good reasons too!

no probs mate, lol,

yer i can see yuor point about returning to standard... it all costs money, but then again for the tyres your gonna go through, price of one of those will get you some steelies with part worns, or even some cheapo 15"s,

i got some 14"s with good tyres il let go cheap if your really stuck

Cheers dude
