Hi,
I am currently trying to change my nova from sunroof to none sunroof. Is there an easy way of doing this? Ive heard a metal calibra sunroof panel is a good fit. Obviously I expect a lot of welding and filling but if anyone knows a quick and easier way id be very grateful
Im new on here but will post my build thread on here at some point.
Thanks
Richard
id just go with cutting out a template from sheet metal, seld it on then grind, fill, smooth paint etc
but your headlining will have a massive hole in it wont it? thats going to be hard to replace as headlinings arent exactly easy to swap

Luckily the car is being totally stripped inside so headlining isn’t an issue….thank god!
I was trying to use a sun roof panel or something that has a natural curve in it already so save on the ball ache of getting it perfect from sheet metal.

best to cut the roof of another nova, even the rear half of anither sun roof model will be close to the cuvriture.

Well I was going to do a full roof skin but im on a dead line now of 6 weeks to get the car from bare shell to painted up running as im planning on going USC in it. If I manage to pull it off it will be the biggest achievement ive done so far!
