Analy Shafted!!!!!!!!!!
Thats not shocking imo thats how these places work and everyone thinks theyre getting such a good deal when in fact theyre just signing up for massive finance and really stupid interest rates that will in the long run rob them of a whole bunch of fundage, but as with most people they prefer or are to stupid to think of this and as seems with him, as its gradual then theyre happy to do it!
And i work at a renault mainstealers and we currently have two models of a much better spec than that sh!tter for about £4k lol

i think the shocking bit is just how comfy the kid is with this he had it explained from someones perspective who is not in a money making buiseness and still has a filter head
but it's ok the lovly lady at the desk explained all to him so there is no hidden anything and its all as he see's it
but what a lovly motor

what a ****ing numpty
Only read the first page and a half.
Seems the kid got a crap finance deal because he's got sh!t credit history. Bearing in mind he's only 19, and theoretically you can only get "proper" finance from 18, he must either have so much debt that the car is the least of his worries, or be bankrupt. Either way, he must have been extremely irresponsible with money to get in that kind of situation.*
However, it does illustrate the whole "want now, pay later - even if its xyz times the cost" generation, and how the credit companies are taking advantage of that. He may know nothing about cars, he may not realise a £400 '93 1.0 Corsa would be just as sufficient for his requirements and not land him in insane amounts of debt.
*Come to think of it, there's always the option than CarCraft mis-sold him the finance deal as being his "only" option when it indeed wasn't. In which case he has a massive case with the financial ombudsman.
I'm having fun reading this!
Credit ladder FTW! LMAO

the best bit is where he says im only going to keep it for 2 3 years, lets do some maths children!
say he keeps it for 2 and a half so thats 4800 paid off (assuming hes paying 160 and NOT including interest) hes then left with what 4200 left to pay?!
he wouldnt get 4200 for it now! nay mind in 3 years lol
poor lad, another numpty sucked into the debt machine
My Cavalier SRi and both Novas add up to £875 and will only go up in value.
I think it's so stupid of people to go buying cars on finance. If you can't afford it, don't get it.
One of my ex-colleagues got a 206 on finance from CarCraft. It has had loads of problems with it since she got it. It wouldn't start when she was at her house, she called them and explained that she's had loads of problems but they just wouldn't help her out at all. She then missed the service a couple of days later because the car was still broken, so now she they just laugh when she calls them. I'm sure she must have some rights but she seems to think she's just well and truly shafted (she's gay though, there's a first time for everything :p).
The thing is, three or four of her payments could have bought her a half decent little run about.
I'll stick to my old Griffins, they may not have all the mod cons but I own them all 100%.
I bought my mrs an 03 1400 16v billabong dynamique for £1500 lmao
But i agree with what they are saying, everyone knows carcraft do that so if yu walk in the door you deserve to be fisted, hope the salesman got a massive kickback!

He has just completly screwed himself over, simply amazing fail. And the insurance, how did he manage to find a quote of 2.4k ??? i wish i could meet this kiddy just to give him a slap, lol.
He must be related to Gordon Brown.
But it's nice! Tell me how nice my NEW car is!!
One of the members on OcUK nicked my Cliowned phrase too lol. I always make owned out of random words, you would think on a computer forum they would be ahead of the game. lol
