No pre-outs?

I think you can get a converter (speaker to RCA) but then you lose your front or rear speakers

Ive got a Kenwood CD player with RCA Pre outs if you want it ?

my other half beetle had this problem with the standard head unit a motor factor down the road fitted the converter thing and it works fine and she didnt lose any of her speakers

I think the best way to run a decent system would be to use a pre out

how much did she pay ? prob for a little more you could get a new H/U

ok, as i said if your going to a good to high level install then pre outs are the way forward. I used to be really into audio back in the day and used to enter into SPL comps and have got many bit and bobs left over so if you do need any thing or advice then just shout

alrite mate these converters are approx £8 from halfords very simple to wire in did it in a mates megane a few weeks ago. hope you get it sorted
