Whats the differance, can i use a x16xe head for my c16xe?

x16 just std
x16xeL has better valves and better flow

the c16 has larger ports compared to the x16xe

SBD reckon the XEL is the one to go for for even better results.

shouldnt have anything to do with valves, as cant see vaux changing the spec on a head that lasted 2years tbh

The C16 and X16 ports are the same iirc, people have to fit the X16 lower manifold to fit a powerbox.

the c16xe are larger. just because it has same bolt pattern doesnt mean the internal shape of the port is the same. thats why people tend to want to use the c16 head compared to the 16xe head

im sure the lower inlet will bolt onto an XEL head too.

Valves are all the same.
C16 has SLIGHTLY inlet larger ports
XEL wont match your inlet as the port shapes different.


Just get either a x16xe or c16 head, wont really notice much difference imo between either

yeah, because the c16 lower inlet has a stupid rubber seal and i think 2 bolt holes or 3. where as the x16 is machined flat and has 5 bolt holes for the inlet;)

ad- my comment wasnt about ports matching, just the fact that the bolt pattern is probably the same on the 3 heads:thumb:
