Front Lower Crossmember

Hi, i am having problems with my front cross member cracking, bending and twisting with the supension arms having no give even though it has been seem welded and strengthened, i think i recall seeing someone cutting it out and replacing it with a piece of box sectiuon steel but cannot find it on here, does anyone know where the piccies are or have any advice on doing this?

Paul did this on his turbo. Few other people have done it but cant think who.

Search his wip mate. Check out some other peoples too. Usualy done on high spec lets and the like.

Hi, I did do this on my turbo, and found out that a 2x2 box section is not man enough.

I have added another one in front of it so its effectively 4x2 but with like a 10mm wall in the middle (stitched the two box sections together)
