What in your opinion is the best cams to use for everyday car use and also some drag time, I am aiming for 150 bhp (not that I will get it but the closer the better).
Sensibly priced I.E no more than £250
whats the spec of the motor?
just even SBD claim that the stock cams are good to 150bhp, but would need usual inlet, headwork, mapped, arp rod bolts, so can atleast rev it to 7.5k, decent ex system/mani, etc etc

A mate of mine used Autosprint, Good guy Jeff is, Mate had a problem with one of his products so me and my mate went to see him and Jeff gave him a new c20xe block.
Anyway spec.
X16XEL block
C16XE head
Mantzel style inlet plenum (The ones Flame is selling on corsa sport)
Full rebuild
Superchip (Was told a chip would be on par with a map as my budget is limited, Can only afford a couple hundred P/M)
High compression pistons.
Are the pistons standard or pocketed?
Superchip is nothing like a proper map, did it raise your rev limit though???
The cheap cams from Autosprint are all regrinds, which a lot of people dont like for various reasons.
Engine is not built yet mate, I am in the process of doing it hence the cam question.
if want head porting, drop me a pm, can sort something out for you, unless doing it yourself.;) ;)
p&p would be nice but as I say my budget is small, Also fuel consumption has to be taken into account when I earn peanuts and have a heavy foot :(lol
no probs matey, if ever need a head doing, just drop a pm. :thumb: can send possible hundreds of pics of heads ive done! lol
Get 2mm milled off the piston pockets so that you can get some proper cams in there.
