saloon project

unfortunetly not a nova!!!! my mate is mad about VW's and ive not been able to turn him to vauxhall. so ive done the next best thing and got him into saloons :)

anywho he found this little beast only 10mins from us and parted just £100 so a good start already. lots of plans for it but to start with its strip down time :D

the dash was lush to take out. 3 screws, 4 nuts and one big plug :)

he then done some work by himself whilst i was over bodgsi's yesturday and got the engine bay to this

then we went up today and spent about 3 hours on it and this is now how it stands

the engine loom and fuse box also has a couple of big plugs so came out nice and easy aswell

well we need to measure up to see if 6n suspension will go on the front, if so then on the deck on coolies. if not then it'll be on air bags. inside is gonne be just a tidy track slag stylie and under the bonnet a 1.3 turbo :)

the drill had a screw driver bit in. ubber quick strippage :D

grinder will be brought into action in the next few days to remove the back bulkhad and front panel lol

if you need any info or poss parts i know some one that has done a g40 one and is breaking it as he has done 4 gearboxes and had nothing but trouble lol but if theres somthing worth knowing he will
