dab radio converter?

Hi mums birthday thursday dont know what to get. She said shes been told about a dab radio converter to go in a car. Its the new shape mk5 astra it would be going in.

Anyone know anything about them and is it as easy as plugging somthing into the back of the cd player?

I have the pure highway thing..... seriously DONT bother :( its a cracking concept but even in good stationary signal areas, while on the move its ****

she got an ipod? if so get something like a power supply +fm transmitter device :)

yeah DAB's gash on the move, will get better with digital switchover as they pump up voltage levels. digital transmissions are damn sight more susceptable to interference and noise. ipod + fm transmitter ftw

Didnt know they were that bad, thanks for the advice. She has got an ipod but dont use it lol
