Use Kunifer rather than copper, it'll last longer and is more resistant to corrosion esp. if you drive your car through winter.

I can thoroughly recommend these guys, used them a couple of times and delivery is quick (link to item you need): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-16-X-25-FT-CUPRO-NICKEL-KUNIFER-BRAKE-PIPE-TUBING_W0QQitemZ360155506563QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_ DefaultDomain_3?hash=item53daf0e783&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A4%7C294%3A30

Got the fittings from a local spares place. The company I posted about sell them but I'm not sure if you'd need to buy sets of them.

Should only be 50p at a motor factors.

I agree used them before and was very quick.

Its a bit harder to bend than copper but easy when you have the right tools.

Going back to what phazer said, there's little doubt in my mind that that stuff is 90% cu and 10% Ni, which is fine, BUT i am almost certain the name Kunifer always used to apply to steel tube with copper plating, then nickel plating over the top-- the 'fer' standing for 'ferrous'. So i think the feller on ebay is using wrong name for it.

Ah well, you'll know by putting a magnet against it; Nickel is only very slightly magnetic and Steel is very much so!

It's definately not steel, it's not magnetic. I've always been led to believe the nickel copper stuff is called Kunifer.

Actually a quick google search confirms that everyone refers to 90/10 cu/nickel as Kunifer.

Cool. That's cleared that up then!
