vec v6's: Bargain of the century.
ive had no trouble with mine, average near 30 mpg steady driven and is low mileage. 10 year old 170bhp for under a grand?

i dont really know around £1800!

i would go for a gsi but insurance is too high!

as i have 36 points on my licence and also a 6 month ban lol

i know a lot about v6's as my old astra was 232bhp!

i have owned a sri 2.6 v6 vectra before but didnt last long as the oil cooler was fuked so the oil and water mixed!

i love them,well i do have one lol which is up for sale lol heres a pic she got stainless down pipes de-cat,milltek stainless straight threw centre section into an irmscher DD back box.Weve just been on holiday in her got about 34ish mpg and did around 1k trouble free miles only reason were sellin is to get a zafira

I was going to say about a GSI, IMO they are very good for the cost. Im looking at buying one once i sell the nova at the end of the year.

yer the gsi ones are nicer and a bit quicker but cant afford the insurance!

The GSi hatch I had was awesome. Such a comfy car, brilliant to drive and sounded the nuts. Regretted selling that ever since I saw it drive away. Definetly have another one. :thumb:

As a get you from A - B within minimal fuss the Vectra's rock!

The estates are really handy as you can get shed loads of stuff in the back. My Ecotec in my vectra died due to oil pump failure so I XE'ed it lol . NO its not for sale !

Can't comment on the V6's but I've heard if you look after them they are OK
