in sure haynes shows a pic of someone holding a screwdriver against the ridge on the side of the CV and whacking the screwdriver with a hammer
yeah i tried that screwdriver coal chisel everything it aint going in?????????
help please need to sort it soon should i change the inner cv joint would tht work??
simply hitting it in wont necessarily work as they have to line up correctly. try rotatin the drive shaft until you can feel the teeth have lined up properly with the grooves they slide into. then hit it with the hammer. (sorry if that sounds complicated!)
