Fitted my new wheel yesterday and it wasn't on quite straight so have whipped it off again today. I'm just trying to refit it but can't quite get the nut to tighten onto the shaft as it doesn't seem to be sticking through enough. I can get the nut to go on without the washer, but obviously I need the washer!

It seems the the shaft has been knocked back a mm or 2 and just isn't sticking through quite far enough for me to tighten the boss back on again. Is there a way I can adjust this and slide it back through a bit further?

Cheers.

the 13mm bolt at the pedals might give you enough extra.

or if the steering wheel is defo on the splines correctly tighten the nut and this will pull the wheel on a bit further then loosen it and fit the washer

^ what he said. Remember there is a spring behind it all. As you do it up it should compress, giving you enough to fix it to.
