you can remap it to match the fueling to the duration of your cam.
dont know who would do it for you in your area sorry

yeah it matter or else what the point of uprating the ecu.
there is no point in chipping/mapping a standard engine as all you would be doing is putting more fuel in

if you put a air filter on and a full exhaust onthe engine will be breathing better there for demanding more fuel there for you chip/remap your ecu to meet the demands off the engine

yea but you can improve on vauxhalls standard map as its there for all round drivability , performance , economy but if you want a specific to be better a chip and/or remap is the way to go .

depending on the duration of the cam

a re map is really just the same you are just remapping the standard map/chip

explain?
the right engine?
its a n/a engine not as simple as just fitting a turbo.
there is oil feeds, manifold, 5th injector, mapping and other little things

Dirtydog has done a home brew'd Turbo conversion on his e16se. So I'd guess he knows his way round the engine.

Superchips used to list something for the GTE (Bosch ECU) IIRC. Apart from maybe raise the rev limiter, they are likely to be utter pap. Most likely sold & developed due to there being a market for them once upon a time when the cars were popular, not that the chips were any good. The Superchips product for an XE was awfull & worse than std. You used to have to have an ECU & modded AFM as a pair.

You can play with the AFM anyway.

Go on the Superchips you tard.

Regardless, they charge £300 for 5bhp. Worth it? Yeah thought not aswell...

I'd expect the economy to be terrible also.

m tech do both. mine chiped with 3 bar fuel pressure full exhaust. std engine and last night it beat a cam up gsi that every one fort was well fast mine a c16se tho and the other was a e16se

C16 has an entirely different management unit & no AFM. E16's came with either a Bosch ECU or Siemens. Only the Bosch had the superchip available IIRC.

I dare say the C16 chips might work (a little). Chips on n/a engines are usually only grasping at straws.
