I have a spare new oil temp gauge and sender. Where would i go about fitting it to a 1.4 16v corsa b engine? The sender is m10.
Any tips or advice appreciated.

May need to go talk to your local hose and hydraulic supplier (salt of the earth, these people!)
I do recall there aint a lot of room on some cars and you need to establish whether the transducer will foul anything as you tighten it up.
Lots of obscure threads have been used over the years, it's one of the neglected areas of engineering (the land that standardisation forgot!) and you of course need to establish parallel or taper, exact TPI, etc. Then it's out with the PTFE tape, start her up and and check for leaks!
Better still get a brass tee piece then you can retain the little red light
