Gear Linkage

Having a few problems need to setup my nova gear linkage can anyone advise the best way to do this is on a 1.3 sr engine five speed box but the car originally had a 4 speed box can this make a difference. Cheers Also does anyone know where I can get a pair of rad clips?

Get a mate to hold the stick in the right place and then, with the box in neutral and tighten the 13mm bolt from the shifter pole.

You will need to cut the block off the 4speed gear stick if you havnt already.

if you can find one, get a 5 speed stick assy

isnt there somet in the haynes about doing this if your by yourself, something about sliding 3mm drill bits into certain places gearbox and shifter side or something, need to look into that myself.

iirc the haynes tells you to put a drill bit into the selector turret (which ive NEVER needed to do) and still says about having a "assistant" help.
