I'm doing a few touches here and there to the salmon this week, and whilst painting things I noticed the strut brace was looking a bit ratty

(crap pic, but only one I have to hand of the engin bay with the brace in the pic lol)

So I've used up the last of the hammerite yellow I had left over from my brake calipers:

Not sure whether it looks right. The other options would be to do it satin black like the bumpers, blue like the body, or dark blue like the bits of hose...

...OR change the bits of hose? I think having more than two colours in the engine bay (in this case, black, yellow and dark blue) looks a little bit off.

If you know the colour of your car then yet lol then do it that. :D

Looks good in yellow - Gives a good contrast against the engine bay and body colour of the car :)

Grumble, i'm thinking of doing yellow bits on mine. Better than lots of shades of blue... lol

Thing is though, and I thought of this when picking a colour for the brake calipers, is that yellow goes with everything.

Red, blue, white, black, heck even green. Even pink. In fact it even works on Scott's orange jobber.
