yeah they did! The came in the early mk4 sports. The engine code was x18xe1, and were throttle cabled.

nah - great idea i say
and yeah, astra mk4 & vectra b is best source. Z18XE (fly-by throttle) has slightly beter o.e spec than x18xe1. But a breaker wouldnt know that.

The x18xe1's also had a problem with their ecu's too, iirc the pins would come loose. (bolted to side of inlet manifold)
I've been wanting to do one of these in a nova for a while, do it fella!

Its not hard to see why they have potential when you see the inlet ports on the head.

These engines are yet to catch on tbh.

i was saying that to peester at pv. these will be the next big conversion imo

only trouble is at this stage only mr bowyer does the inlets for these for tb's lol. Mind you, they are on the shelf so not too much waiting around.

Exactly what I've said, and totally agree with you too Luke - I'm sure they will be the next C20XE in terms of popular conversion, only problem being the wiring but if you're going for stand alone it doesn't matter!

I have to mention it, but the Dbilas turbo conversions seem very effective on some Corsa C's. 250bhp!! Not bad.
