I need to cut some bonnet vents in my bonnet, whats the best tool to cut it with, i would have though that a jigsaw would bounce up and down and leave an uneven edge.

if you have a very good hand maybe a grinder?
or one of those special tool thing that cut perfect lines cant remember off the top of my head what there called
I've cut out Aerocatch holes in a bonnet with a jigsaw, it left a nice edge and didn't snag, you just need a finer thin metal blade.

I don't fancy spitting sparks all over the bodyworklol

I Used A 4" Grinder When I Fitted Mine!!! Animal!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe use one of the really thin cutting discs on a grinder....?
Personally mate, if there is no option to mess it up, I'd hire a nibbler from hss or similar, very neat finish and you can work at your own pace. Id definitely get a bonnet or similar flat panel to practice on until your happy

thats what i was on about lol the nibbler thingy lol
At a quick look I'd say it means the size of the hole it needs to pass through, I'd ask in there which one they think is more fitting to the job, I borrowed one off a friend that does Cladding and I'm not sure which one he has, sorry I can't be more help

Plenty of LEt novas have no bonnet vent, why do you NEED one?
I'd get a bodyshop to do it, on a car as clean as yours anyway.

your right graig, not needed but about a year ago i got some courtenay carbon ones of Will F and they've been sitting in a box since i sanded and lacquered them.
my current bonnet isn't that clever, its not even painted underneath because when i had it done i had the sound dedoning stuff.
just though it would be a nice addition and its a shame not to use them.
i've lost all faith in letting people do bits on my car as they always balls it up and cause stress.
