How much needs machining when using astra CV's. Any one got an exact diameter?
Do you mean how much is taken off the big block hub flange?

You also want to make sure the top edge has a nice radus on it for the bearings to roll/sit in.

i used an astra hub but had to get the face that the wheel touches turned down i.e the part the wheel nuts go through cos it was too thick
Erm... The wheel wont touch it. The brake disc sits over it...
They are all the same size/thickness.

i just said that so folk would know what side i meant. i fitted it and could not get the disk into the caliper
Thats very odd, was it fitted ok? All the hubs are the same thickness so you shouldnt of had that prob.

the one i used was off a mk3 astra (motorsport) and the thickness of the hub that the wheel nuts go through was a few mil thicker than the m.tec one i had in there weird i know but true i still need to do the other side
M-tec? Eek! and very odd.
